Application path: Main Menu → B2B → Construction Menu → choose a category → select a NAICS entry → enter location filters → Search.
From Main Menu → B2B, choose Construction Menu. Select a company category, then a NAICS row (or search within the category by keyword), and use the location/business filters on the next page before selecting Search. The matching company list is the next screen; use its View Details or Map It! links to continue. This path finds companies; it does not search construction projects, bid notices or awards.

The first six buttons open category-specific NAICS lists. The menu itself has no entry fields or export.
Choose a NAICS entry
The category page lists NAICS industry codes and Title descriptions. Select either link on a row to search companies under that code. Enter a Keyword and choose Search Keyword within NAICS to narrow the titles in this category. This searches industry titles, not live solicitations.
Search companies for the selected code
After selecting Facilities Maintenance and its NAICS entry, this form shows the location and business filters used for the company search.

The company search shows the selected NAICS title. Its fields combine as filters on companies carrying that code:

| ZipCode | Enter the five-character ZIP at the center of the area. Preserve leading zeros. |
| Radius | Choose 25, 50, 100, 250 or 500 miles. It applies only when ZipCode is entered. The distance is an approximate ZIP-centroid great-circle calculation, not road distance or distance to the exact company door. |
| State | Select one or more company-address states as the alternative to a ZIP/radius search shown on the form. |
| Business Type | Filters stored company classification, such as 8(a), AbilityOne, HUBZone, ownership or veteran categories. Verify current certification and program eligibility independently. |
| Show only Companies with U.S. Government Award History | Requires the stored award-history flag. It does not independently prove that a company's award fits the selected construction requirement. |
| Search | Opens the existing company result guide with selected filters. |
Results use the common company list. Its export can include institution sections that were not shown in this construction search. Open a promising company's detail to check its actual work and registration.
Follow one populated search
In the signed-in application, Facilities Maintenance led to one listed NAICS entry, 561210 — Facilities (except computer operation) support services. We selected that entry, chose Florida under State, left ZIP, business type and award-history restriction empty, and selected Search. The result page displayed company rows with View Details, CAGE, company, address and Map It!; its first page held 50 rows. The displayed 25-mile radius value was not a distance filter in this example because ZIP was blank.

We selected View Details on 1ST CHOICE FACILITIES SERVICES CORP., CAGE 56GJ0, Sarasota, Florida. Its Vendor / CAGE Detail View showed the company and address, procurement-research buttons and a Back button. Use that Back button to return to the same result list. The contractor-profile actions are explained in Review contractor results and details.

The same result row has Map It!, which opens a separate tab; see View a result location on a map. Return to your results by closing or switching away from that tab. To revise the search, use the browser's Back control from the result list; the list itself has no page Back button.
Business example: facilities support and electrical work
One company-search route selects Facilities Maintenance, then NAICS 561210, Facilities support services, and searches Florida. The result includes 1st Choice Facilities Services Corporation, CAGE 56GJ0; View Details opens its Vendor / CAGE Detail View, and Back returns to the same company list.
A separate example searches Florida company descriptions for electrical and filters for companies with award history. It follows A A Electric S.E., Inc., CAGE 7Y971, from its result row to the Vendor / CAGE Detail View, then opens View FBO/FPDS Award History. The recorded list includes a controller and analog-input purchase dated September 2016 for $11,788.20 and electrical parts dated December 2011 for $21,830.38. These are older awards, and this company is not the facilities-support result. The routes identify firms and historical work; they do not identify an active project or establish current capacity.
