View a result location on a map
Part of these button learning paths: Commercial Prospecting ยท Construction Menu
Open Main Menu โ B2B โ Construction Menu, choose a company category and NAICS entry, enter the location filters, then select Search. In a result row, select Map It! to open that result on a separate map tab. A Map It! link can also appear on local-facility results from federal and state institution research. Close or switch from the map tab to return to the unchanged result list. The map helps compare a possible customer's location with your service area; it does not calculate travel time or show a procurement notice.
Example: locate a commercial prospect
From Main Menu โ B2B โ Commercial Prospecting, enter ZipCode 34684, Radius 25 and NAICS Code 561720, leaving the other filters clear. Select Search. On the row for 1 O.C.D. CLEANING SERVICE, LLC, CAGE 8BCL9, choose Map It!. The map opens in a separate tab. This example shows 910 WOODLAWN ST APT 501, CLEARWATER FL 33756 above a map of the Clearwater area.

Read and use the map
| Display or control | What it means and how to use it |
|---|---|
| Company or facility name | Identifies the result you selected. |
| Address, city, state and ZIP | Shows the location information supplied by that result. Some results have fewer address details. |
| Location marker | Shows the selected result's recorded position on the map. Use it to understand the location relative to nearby towns and roads. |
| + / โ | Zoom in for nearby streets or out for the surrounding area. |
| Map area | Drag the map to look around the location. |
| Open in OpenStreetMap | Opens the location on OpenStreetMap for further map viewing. |
Close the map tab to return to your unchanged results. Use View Details on the company row to continue business research; see commercial prospecting results. The map page itself has no application search or Excel export.
The location helps assess your service area or plan further research. Compare the marker with the written address before relying on it for travel. It does not identify an open contract or establish that the company needs your services.
