Research a service opportunity: dated custodial example

Application paths: Main Menu โ†’ Primary Searches โ†’ Research All Open Solicitations; then Main Menu โ†’ Research โ†’ Award History.

Dated review lesson ยท Observed 9 October 2026 ยท 7 minutes 59 seconds. Follow a Memphis-area interior-cleaning firm's research question across solicitation search, the original publisher record, Award History and a stop-or-monitor decision. The video assembles actual captured screen states into an edited lesson; it is not an uninterrupted screen recording. This is one business case in the training library, not complete coverage of every application feature or business type.

Chapters

Start What the lesson covers
0:00.001 Define the interior-cleaning firm's business question.
0:29.851 Search service notices with two keyword groups and Title selected.
1:00.851 Read result fields as leads, not bid decisions.
1:31.851 Open the Harford publisher document and identify a historical award report.
2:03.909 Broaden one keyword condition and screen out supply-only matches.
2:32.909 Follow an exact notice to its official Current Record and cancellation.
3:28.909 Search 2026 Award History for custodial and Memphis separately.
3:58.909 Distinguish six action rows from three contract identifiers.
4:39.140 Open one modification and interpret its obligation and dates.
5:14.140 Compare a 2026 NAICS 561720 grouped search and its four action amounts.
6:09.140 Recognize the missing workbook for this exact export.
6:42.290 Use historical agency and office fields as buyer-research leads.
7:06.640 Stop a response to the canceled record; monitor only if a new notice appears.
7:32.640 Preserve criteria, source version, action identifiers and decision reasons.

The official Current Record for HQC00826QE006 was canceled effective 2 September 2026; the earlier linked version displayed an October due date. The lesson therefore does not present that notice as an open bid. The separate award example is historical: HDEC0821C0028 / P00033 shows a $228,071.24 action obligation and a 2026 completion date, not an announced recompete. A different NAICS 561720 search shows a grouped $12,038 total made from four actions, including a negative adjustment; it is not a result from the custodial/Memphis keyword search.

What remains to verify: The video locates Export To Excel, but no downloaded workbook for the exact custodial/Memphis criteria was inspected. Its sheet names, row count and values are not taught as facts. No contracting-office profile or current officer was opened in this case, and no message, folder or saved alert was created. Before pursuing any opportunity, reopen the current official notice and check scope, status, eligibility and deadline.

For field-by-field guidance, see solicitation search, solicitation results, award search, award results and award detail. The custodial business walkthrough develops the fit decision, while the recorded workbook reference explains a separate dated export example; that workbook is not this search's export.
