Read a contract award or modification

An award action is one recorded transaction on a contract: the original award or a later modification that changes the recorded terms or funding. One contract can have many actions, each with its own action date and obligation.

From Main Menu → Research → Award History, choose a year and search, then select Contract # in a result. In a grouped result, select the arrow to expand the contract/reference and then select Contract # on the action you want. This opens Award Details for that action. Select the page's Back button to return to the preceding results, or Main Menu to start another search. The award results guide explains the two layouts. Start with the contract and modification number, description, dates and obligation. The example here is HDEC0821C0028 / P00033, a past action involving custodial work at Memphis Commissary.

This action is transaction 0, signed April 24, 2026, with an Action Obligation of $228,071.24. Its description mentions shelf stocking and custodial services. Keep P00033 with the contract number so you can return to this exact action.

Use purchaser and contractor information to learn who bought the work and who received it. A blank field has no displayed value here.
