Read the NSN batch-report workbook

Application path: Main Menu โ†’ Search by NSN/NIIN โ†’ Create a Batch Report โ†’ Create Report โ†’ open the downloaded workbook.

After creating a batch report, open the downloaded .xls file in Excel or Google Sheets, then select a worksheet tab along the bottom. The selected sections determine which tabs appear. Read each value with its column heading; blank cells remain blank, and repeated item identifiers help keep rows with the right NSN.

The workbook screenshots and sample values below are from the established Guide examples dated October 11, 2026, using NSNs 6140014469506 and 8345002500919. They illustrate the worksheet layout and field meanings. Your output depends on your NSN list and the report sections you selected. See the full batch-workbook walkthrough and the SalesHelp batch form and safety instructions.

Which worksheets to expect

The catalog/reference example selected MCRL, ML-C, Technical Characteristics, Associated Docs, Substitutes, and Moe Rules, together with the required catalog header. It showed these tabs: MCRL, TechChars, SegH, MoeRules, AssociatedDocs, AltSubs, and NSN. The five-year-award example selected only Award History 5 Years with the required catalog header; it showed AwardHistory and NSN. Optional tabs appear when selected and when the report returns matching rows.
